Agrium, now Nutrien is a Canadian company that specialized in the production and distribution of nitrogen fertilizers. The company had been operating for over 100 years and headquartered in Calgary, Alberta. Nutrien is one of the largest fertilizer manufacturers in the world. The Redwater plant opened in 1969 and has been producing monoammonium phosphate (MAP) to help growers enhance their yields.
For the last 15 years, we participated in handling and treatment of process wastewater on the facility by doing the following works.
- Construct pipilines for process water handling
- Clean and maintain Tailing ponds through dreading
- Treat and handle waste solids
- Clean and maintain fire water
- Treat and recycle wastewater
Agrium is a great company to work for. There commitment to environmental remediation is unwavering. Although we've been away from the site for 7 years, to focus on other works, we hope to return to the site next season.
